
Taryn Ness is a Program Support Analyst at the San Francisco Human Services Agency, focusing on Family and Children’s Services data and research projects. Currently, she project manages the local evaluation of a Guaranteed Income Pilot for Former Foster Youth in partnership with the research institution Chapin Hall. Previously, Taryn worked with Family and Children’s Services as a Bilingual Protective Services Worker in their Emergency Response Unit.
Taryn holds dual master’s degrees in Public Health and Social Welfare from UC Berkeley. Before graduate school, she worked as a Bilingual Health Educator in school-based health centers in the East Bay and served as a youth health volunteer in the Peace Corps in Honduras. These experiences deepened her commitment to working with children and transitional aged youth.
Taryn is proud to contribute to the mission of the San Francisco Foster Youth Fund as a member of the board of directors.
