
Ronda Johnson was born and raised in Oakland, California. She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, California State University, Sacramento, and the University of San Francisco. She has over 30 years of experience working in maternal and child health, women’s reproductive health, higher education counseling, and child welfare.
She started working in child welfare in 1998 as a Protective Service Worker and was promoted to a Supervisor in 2007. In her role as a Supervisor, she also was a member of the Workforce Development Team where she coached and trained Protective Service Workers and Supervisors. Currently, she is a Program Manager where she is a part of the leadership team that oversees the Child Abuse Hotline, Emergency Response, and On-Call program.
